WHERE WE ARE
Getting there by car
The Messezentrum is situated on the northern edge of the City of Salzburg. It can easily be found by following the signs to the motorway exit "Messezentrum Salzburgarena" on the A1. (Beware: you need a toll-road sticker in Austria!)
- 4 km to the city centre
- 3 km to the airport
- 3 km to the railway station
- Right next to the motorway with its own exit on the A1: "Messezentrum Salzburgarena".
- Parking: currently 3,394 parking spaces, 743 of which are covered.
- Bus no. 1 (During events the bus stops directly in front of the Salzburgarena)
- Easy to reach on foot from the city and the surrounding suburbs.
- Can be reached by cycle path.
- The local train stop is also close by "Maria Plain".
- Railway station and airport within easy reach.
In Austria using the motorway is charged with road taxes. You can reach us without a toll-road sticker via the motorway A8 (Germany)
- Exit no. 115 Bad Reichenhall, direction Freilassing on the B 20
- From there follow the signs directing to Salzburg
- After the motorway roundabout approximately 500 m as far as the Agip gas station
- As soon as you get to the the traffic lights turn left in the direction of Messezentrum
You can also buy a weekly toll-road sticker for € 7,70 valid for 10 days available at any gas stations close to the motorway. For the visitors coming from Germany it makes sense to avoid the road tax by using the way described
Getting there by public transport
During the exhibition days, you can use the bus for free. The entry ticket is valid for one bus ride.
